The Codex of Heroes
Hall of Heroes
Heroes carry the army. Build them carefully β the resources are unforgiving.
Hero Systems Overview
Heroes play a critical role in combat and progression. While troops make up the majority of your army's strength, heroes provide powerful abilities, stat bonuses, and strategic advantages that greatly influence the outcome of battles.
Hero progression involves several interconnected systems: rarity, levels, stars, skills, equipment, and statues. Because resources used for hero development are limited, making smart decisions about which heroes to invest in is extremely important.
- Hero Progression β understanding rarity, roles, and how to build your first core team
- Hero Might β how strength is calculated through levels, stars, and skills
- Hero Gear β equipping and upgrading gear to enhance combat performance
- Hero Statues β improving hero classes through statue bonuses
The Three Hero Classes
Warriors
Frontline fighters responsible for absorbing damage and protecting the rest of the team. Higher defensive stats, designed to survive longer in combat and draw enemy attacks away from the backline.
Rangers
High-damage ranged attackers positioned in the backline. Rangers are usually responsible for the bulk of a team's damage output, which is why increasing their offensive power has the biggest impact on results.
Warlocks
Specialists in magic damage, debuffs, and support effects. Warlocks bring unique utility by weakening enemies or enhancing allies during combat, and are powerful in both PvE and PvP when used correctly.
Hero Statues
Hero Statues provide permanent stat bonuses to heroes based on their combat class. While heroes gain strength through leveling, stars, skills, and gear, statues provide additional global bonuses that improve the effectiveness of entire hero categories.
Warrior Statue
- Health (HP)
- Defense (DEF)
- Overall survivability
Ranger Statue
- Increased Attack (ATK)
- Improved offensive combat stats
- Increased damage potential
Warlock Statue
- Improved ability effectiveness
- Increased offensive stats
- Better support capability during battles
Statue Upgrade Strategy
- Prioritize the statue that supports the heroes in your main team
- Upgrade statues that strengthen your primary damage dealers first
- Continue upgrading other statues as additional resources become available
For most teams, the Ranger Statue becomes a priority because Rangers usually provide the highest damage output. Tank-heavy teams may favor the Warrior Statue earlier.
